Greetings. This is my first posting here exclusively about dance. I am a composer and arranger of classical music whose biography appears in The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians published by Oxford University Press. https://www.oxfordmusiconline.com/grovemusic/browse?btog=chap&pageSize=20&sort=titlesort&subSite=grovemusic&t=music_People%3A18&t0=music_Topics%3A78
Three matters: Matter #1: I want to let the international dance community know that, to date, I have arranged fifteen late piano works by Johannes Brahms for orchestra as close to the sound of his orchestration as I could manage, but of course with some individualistic touches of my own. This is an historic effort, as I only know of one ("1") other arrangement of one Brahms title. While I seek live performances and recordings, I have excellent audio tracks created using high end music engraving and audio software. Those tracks are perfectly usable for the purposes of dance recitals and concerts. Here is a link to the playlist of my arrangements on YouTube.
I am offering these tracks FOR FREE to the international dance community. All I ask in return is that you credit me as the arranger in your printed and online programs. Feel free to contact me to receive high quality, uncompressed audio files for concerts.
Matter #2: I just released a new composition called "Enigmatic Dance Suite" for vibraphone solo composed in four movements: Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, and Gigue. This original musical composition aches for a nuanced world premiere performance by an accomplished vibraphone player, and at least a pair of dancers, if not more.
Matter #3: I have a large catalog of published and unpublished musical works, any number of which could serve the purposes of creative dancers. If you are interested, feel free to reach out to me via email. stanley@stanleymhoffman.com
Thank you for your time and attention.
